First of all price: $241 with shipping and sales tax (I live in Texas, same as the maker, so I got hit with tax...still a great deal). What I got was an all leather custom made bag to fit my Lecompte 6 string bass. I sent them the measurements of my bass, and Probag made a bag to fit it perfectly. Its very thickly padded and my bass fits very secure and snug inside. Probag has several designs to choose from, and you can add options. Standard features on the bag I ordered included 2 zipper pockets on the front, backpack style shoulder straps, and carrying handles on the side and neck. Thick shag padding on the inside, an extra protection piece for the head, and a rubberized footplate come standard as well. On this bag I also added a custom option of a long strap on the zipper side. I wanted to be able to sling the bag on one shoulder for convenience and to have the bag hang more vertically than if I simply used one of the backpack straps. Probag really came through on it. The strap Probag made works perfectly: they provided me with 2 upper attachment points, and an adjustable strap with extra padding. The head hangs right behind my shoulder...no more banging the neck or head on a door jamb or knocking over lamps . Overall I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and highly recommend them. Considering that a comparable "off the shelf" leather bag costs upwards of $300 from any other manufacturer, you can't beat Probag. I'm going to be ordering another bag from them soon, a double bag to carry my fretted 5'er and fretless.

​Hi Johnny, I got the bag this afternoon. Very nice work! It fits my bass perfectly, very snug and secure. The leather is sweet looking and the padding feels nice and thick. The added strap came out perfect too. It hangs even better than I anticipated, and the padding you added on the strap really went the extra mile, thanks for that! You might want to consider adding that as a custom option on your web-site. I know a lot of bassist like to sling their bag over one shoulder without having the head stick out in back (as happens when you have to use one of the backpack straps). The long side strap lets the bag hang right at your side vertically instead of horizontally, lessening the chance of striking it on something (like a door jamb as you walk through...can't tell you how many times I've done that). I'm very active on an internet forum called Talkbass.com, and will be putting up a positive review and pics of my new bag there. I shopped around quite a bit for bag, and the quality and price of yours can't be beat. Hopefully it will generate some referral business for you. Thanks again, you've made me a happy customer!
